Unbelievable (-.-)
Today we were sititng in the Leseraum discussing what our Abi-ball (prom) will be like.
Suddenly one of the girls said: ''We have to write on the tickets that parents have to leave at 11 pm!''
Excuse me? I can't believe someone would dare to say something like that. And what's even worse? All the girls agreed on that saying things like: ''Yeah they must leave so we can enjoy the rest of the evening on our way..'', ''After all, that's our big evening, not theirs.. So, why should they stay?'' and ''As soon as it's 11 pm I will tell (not ask) my mother to leave.''
I remained silence at the beginning but in the end I really couldn't help it and just said:
''You know what, I think they should stay until the end. Would be a great chance for them to see how they failed in raising up their children.''
One thing is sure: I'm leaving with my Grandma and I won't stay one single minute there without her!!!
PS: To enlighten you a bit: The reason why they don't want their parents to stay is so they can start drinking, smoking and all the ************ they do behind their parents' back all the time.

Great thing that you're standing up to what's right. Respect =)
Thanks a lot! =)
You're the first one (who's neither an adult nor a parent) who tells me that!
And guess what? Today a girl was trying to explain to me that it's regarded as respect when children don't do bad, wrong things infront of their parents, only behind their backs.
So, hypocrisy & being double-faced is seen as respect now! Hallelujah!
It's sad on one hand, but even better for you on the other, as long as you have nothing at all to do with it. So keep it up!
Definitely! Don't worry! =)
